Media Analytics

With a double major in Media Analytics, Rebecca learned about deep diving into data. Learning how to gather, show, and talk about it.

Throughout her courses, she used the platforms, Microsoft Excel, Tableau, R.Studio, and Python, to perform a numerous amount of data research. This helped her gain knowledge of data research and visualizations. â€‹

Data Research Projects

Analyzing reviews of theatrical adaptations, this project looks into how audiences react to films once brought from the stage by reviewing sentiment and doing a text analysis. 

Delving into the words of Hamilton, the musical, this project examines if there is a sentiment change between Act I and Act II, or between genders. 

After President Trump won the 2024 Presidential Election, this project was created to see if there is an overlap between the voting outcomes and the level of education per county in North Carolina.

This project explores the Grammy Songs Of The Year over the past 24 years using Spotify API and R.Studio Text Analysis. It explores to see if there are any connections between the winners to try and predict the 2025 Song of the Year. 

Female Disney Names looks to see if there is a trend between female baby names over the years, and the names of Disney Villains, Princesses, and Heroins.
